How does SideSwap work?
SideSwap, as a ZK-Rollup based AMM DEX, is a collection of smart contracts that define standard ways to create liquidity pools, provide liquidity, and exchange assets.
Each liquidity pool contains two assets, with the pool tracking the total liquidity reserves and the predefined pricing strategy set by the liquidity provider. Each time a transaction occurs, the reserves and price are automatically updated, with no central order book, third-party custody, or private order matching engine.
Since reserves are automatically rebalanced after each transaction, Sideswap pools are always available for token buying and selling, distinguishing it from centralized exchanges as traders can complete transactions without needing to match individual trading counterparts.
